Student Ministries
Let’s face it. The teenage years can be rough. Students will encounter and be introduced to many different lifestyles during the teen years. To help them live the best life possible, the life God intended, we want to challenge them to connect through Christ-centered relationships, grow in the way of Christ, and give as Christ gave. We want to come alongside parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their students. It is our hope and prayer that we can help equip, encourage and minister to families by providing resources and opportunities that help them worship and learn together. We also desire to minister to students who may not have Christian parents in a way that will strengthen them and encourage them as well.
Connect - We believe that life change happens through the power of the gospel. We also believe that relationships are an avenue for the gospel. It is our aim to connect students through Christ-centered relationships with other students and with caring adults who will motivate them in their relationship with Christ.
Grow - In all ways (intellectually, physically and spiritually) this can be an exciting season of growth for students. It is our hope to produce followers of Jesus by deepening their knowledge of God through Bible study, memorization and meditation.
Give – Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Fighting the cultural obsession of personal entitlement and consumer consumption, we hope to raise up a generation of servants. Students more concerned with giving than getting and more focused on serving that being served.
Through these years we pray that students would:
- grow in Christ and in spiritual maturity
- be firmly established in faith and doctrine
- passionately embrace and pursue a God-centered vision for their lives
- meaningfully engaged in worship, study, prayer and ministry
- live courageously in the world even under pressure to conform
- thoughtfully and effectively engage the culture for the sake of the Gospel
