Children's Church

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me” in Matt. 19:14. We join Jesus in loving children and counting it a great priviledge to have them in our community! They are not just the church of tomorrow; they are part of our community today!

Since God has placed a high priority on the strength and development of families, we do everything we can to build strong families for Christ. The Bible, the Word of God, is the ground and guide for educating our children at Trinity. We prayerfully work to:

  • Impart the truth by acquainting children with the whole Bible, presenting the Bible as a revelation of the character and work of God and encouraging children to develop a Biblical mindset and a Christian worldview
  • Encourage faith by encouraging children to trust in the character and promises of God, leading children to recognize their sinful state and to respond in repentance and faith in God, and cultivating a love for the Word and a habit of interacting and responding in faith and obedience to the Word
  • Lead children to actively participate in the purposes of God by helping children to see the hand of God at work in the world, and encouraging children to recognize and use their spiritual gifts for the good of the body and the world.

Out of love and concern for the children in our care, all of our volunteers go through an application process which includes a background check. Safety and security are high priorities for our children’s ministries.
